Watch: Every single moment from Garnacho’s latest masterclass

Alejandro Garnacho is a pleasure to watch each time he steps onto a football pitch at the moment and he showcased all of his skills in his latest performance against Charlton.

Manchester United comfortably saw off the League One side in the EFL club as they walked away with a 3-0 victory. Goals from Antony and Marcus Rashford sealed the victory in the end.

The result means that United have now won eight games on the bounce and are in fine form ahead of the Manchester derby at the weekend. Erik ten hag was impressed with what he saw from his side and particularly Garnacho who created plenty of chances.

“I said before we have to reach the semi-finals and we did the job,” he explained via the club website. “We had to finish the game early on but, in the end, the objective was getting to the semi-final so compliments to the team.

“The only thing I’m not happy with is we had to finish the game early on, finish the scoring chances or take an extra pass. I think we had great chances with Diogo Dalot and Fred, with the free-kick.

“We had good opportunities, especially on the left side, also on the right side. Alejandro Garnacho created a lot, there was also a great save from the goalie, don’t forget, at the end. We didn’t allow them too much and, if there was something, Tom Heaton was there.”

Garnacho attempted eight dribbles against Charlton and successfully completed four of them, he also produced two key passes and won seven ground duels.

In total, United had 21 shots and Ten Hag believes that they could have scored more goals. He adds: “I am never frustrated. I know this is a good opponent and they defend well, they have good organisation, they’re tough and they fight for their lives and that’s good.

“I like the opponent, the way they act, I think it is a big compliment of them. But still, I think we have to finish this game, when we have a little bit better overview, I think we take the extra pass, we should have scored more in the first half and also the second half.”

United have quite a busy schedule coming up with a series of Premier League games to look forward to as well as the FA Cup fourth round and their two-legged tie with Barcelona in the Europa League.

Garnacho stole the show at Old Trafford last night though and we could happily watch his skills compilation all day long.
