Can you name every American to have played in the Champions League?

Forty-two Americans have played in the Champions League since the competition’s inception in 1992-93, but how many of them can you name?

This quiz will be difficult even for the most devoted USMNT follower, as many of these players haven’t played for the continent’s glamour clubs such as Liverpool, PSG or Real Madrid.

Instead, the majority have turned out for European middleweights which means a few of these names might have slipped your attention.

We’ve given you 15 minutes and both the number of appearances each player has made and the clubs they made them with. An asterisk denotes that the player in question played in the 2023-24 competition.
