The PL table in the year since Chelsea appointed Thomas Tuchel
January 2022 marks one year since Thomas Tuchel took over as Chelsea manager – and it cannot be denied that Tuchel has improved the side.
After finding themselves ninth when Frank Lampard was sacked, Chelsea recovered to finish fourth and Tuchel led them to the Champions League trophy in May 2021.
But Chelsea have failed to close the gap on Premier League champions Manchester City and have seen their title challenge fall away after a promising start to the 2021-22 season.
Despite that, Chelsea have acquired more points than the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham since last January and have consolidated their place inside the top four.
We’ve crunched the numbers and have compiled a Premier League table since Tuchel’s appointment 12 months ago.
